Privacy Policy
This page explains how Leaning Studios handles inquiry details, project files, Studio Support information, uploads, and client communications.
Scope
Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to people who contact Leaning Studios, submit a project or support request, share files, ask for Studio Support / Satellite Support, communicate about work, or work with Leaning Studios under Maggios Productions.
Information
Information Leaning Studios collects
Leaning Studios collects only what is reasonably needed to review, respond to, schedule, prepare, support, or complete a request. This may include name, email, phone number, artist name, organization name, project/support details, scheduling details, payment or invoice-related records, emails, texts, messages, project/session files, uploaded files, photos, screenshots, internal job/support records, testimonials, case study details, private project details, access details, and login-related information when a support task requires it.
Use
How information is used
Information is used to review inquiries, respond to clients, route requests, prepare sessions, provide Studio Support, organize project files, deliver work, maintain business records, prepare invoices, handle scheduling, and keep project/support work moving in a clear way.
Default Handling
Confidentiality by default
Client information, project files, support records, access details, photos, screenshots, and private communications are confidential by default. Leaning Studios keeps information limited to the people and tools reasonably needed for the approved work.
Files
Project files, uploads, and original files
Only send files you have permission to share. Leaning Studios protects information while it is needed, avoids unnecessary storage, and protects original files where practical. Project files and uploads are handled as confidential by default and are not used publicly without permission.
Public Use
Photos, screenshots, testimonials, and case studies
Client photos, screenshots, names, organization names, testimonials, project files, support examples, and case studies are not used publicly without permission. Permission may be requested for portfolio, social, educational, or promotional use, but it is not assumed from an inquiry or support request.
Access
Passwords and access details
Leaning Studios avoids storing passwords when possible. If access details or login-related information are needed for a support task, they should be shared only for the approved scope and changed or revoked when the work is complete.
Support
Studio Support / Satellite Support information
Studio Support / Satellite Support requests may include system details, routing notes, DAW/session information, screenshots, file examples, room details, troubleshooting notes, access-related information, and internal support records. These details are handled as confidential by default and used only within the approved support scope.
Business systems, websites, intake forms, dashboards, automation, CRM-style workflows, and non-audio infrastructure route to Web Systems, not Partner Support.
Restricted Details
Telecom-like / CPNI-like information
If telecom-like / CPNI-like information is encountered during a support request, Leaning Studios treats it as restricted confidential information. It is handled only within the approved support scope and is not used for unrelated purposes.
Tools
Third-party tools
Leaning Studios may use third-party tools for forms, email, file sharing, hosting, documents, communication, audio work, project review, and support work. Those tools may process information under their own policies and settings.
Records
Payment and invoice records
Payment and invoice records may be kept for business, accounting, tax, and dispute-resolution needs. The public website does not process checkout payments.
Retention
Retention and deletion
Leaning Studios avoids unnecessary storage and keeps information only as long as reasonably needed for the inquiry, project, support request, business records, legal/accounting needs, or practical follow-up. Clients may request correction or deletion, subject to business, legal, accounting, and operational record needs.
Care
Security and reasonable care
Leaning Studios uses reasonable care to protect information while it is needed. Clients should avoid sending information that is not needed for the request.
Awareness
Louisiana breach-awareness note
If unauthorized access to personal information is suspected, Leaning Studios will review the situation and take appropriate steps based on the information involved and applicable requirements.
Requests
Client choices and requests
Clients may ask to correct, update, or delete information by contacting Leaning Studios. Some records may need to be kept for business, legal, accounting, security, or dispute-resolution reasons.
